Research interests: Arctic sociology and anthropology, sociological monitoring and ethnological expertise in the Arctic; informal economy and traditional nature use; illegal fishing in Russia; cultural ecology; traditional ecological knowledge and sacred economy; gathering of non-timber forest resources and ethno-economic institutions of indigenous peoples of the North; interaction between indigenous peoples of the North and major subsoil user companies; transformation of Arctic economic practices under digitalization; sociology of space; anthropology of landscape; social memory; Arctic: European and Eastern Arctic; Siberia; Asian North.
