Evgeny Styrin's presentation at the round table «Russia-Africa: Knowledge Exchange in Public Administration Digitalization»

At the Yasin (April) HSE University conference, a round table was held on the possibilities of knowledge exchange between Russia and Africa in the field of digitalization of public administration. Head of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public AdministrationEvgeny Styrin delivered a report «Digital Transformation in Russian Public Sector: Digital Solutions Development and Experience Transfer».

The speaker noted that over the past 20 years, Russia has achieved great success in the field of digitalization and has moved from the stage of «Electronic Government» to the stage of «Digital public administration», significantly expanding the list of digital services provided. Statistics have shown that citizens of our country have saved 98 thousand hours when applying for public services in electronic form. The created infrastructure and solutions in the field of digitalization of public administration are of undoubted interest for African countries.
