The round table «The Future of Digital Public Administration: Scientific and Practical directions»
The International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration held online round table. The Chairman was Eran Vigoda-Gadot, Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Politics at the School of Political Sciences of the University of Haifa.
Among the key speakers were:
- Eran Vigoda-Gadot – Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Politics at the School of Political Sciences of the University of Haifa;
- Evgeny Styrin – Head of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration (Institute for Public Administration and Governance, HSE University);
- Evan Berman – Professor Titular in Public Management at FGV EAESP (The Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas);
- Trent A. Engbers – Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Southern Indiana;
- Donizete Beck – Researcher and Lecturer at the Nove de Julho University; Associate Editor in the Journal of Environmental Management & Sustainability.
Employees and partners of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration participated in discussion. In total, about 30 researchers from 4 countries joined the online round table about «The Future of Digital Public Administration: Scientific and Practical directions».
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
1. Where do participants think the field is standing now and how important it is for the study of modern nations?
2. What are the major potential directions for progress in this field and how they may impact the discipline of PA&P?
3. Where participants see their personal interest in this field and how it may relate with their past or current studies?
4. Which areas of this scientific field should be invested in first of all today?
