Round table «Media law: tendencies and problems»

On February 5, 2024, law faculty of Moscow State University held a round table « Media law: tendencies and problems », which was attended by a Research Fellow of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration of the HSE University, Dr. Diskin. 

During the round table, the participants discussed a number of topical issues of media, including the prohibition of LGBT propaganda and various legal consequences of recognizing this ideology as extremist, the legislative framework of media regulation in China, Recent trends in blogger market regulation and sales of information products. Evgeny Diskin also took part in the discussion on the legal capacity of generative artificial intelligence and the legal risks of media coverage of crimes of extremist-terrorist orientation.
