International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration held an online seminar on the topic "Forming a methodology for assessing the digital transformation of districts of a large city". Research Assistant of the Laboratory Yana Rybushkina made a presentation.

The report was devoted to the digital transformation of urban development. The concept of "smart" city was discussed, as well as the main subjects of digital transformation of urban environment. The main topic was the formation of a methodology for assessing the digital transformation of large city districts. Foreign experience in assessing the digital transformation of cities was presented, as well as Russian practices, the key example of which is the "IQ cities" rating. The first developments on the creation of a methodology for assessing the digital transformation of large city districts were presented. 

During the Q&A session, audience gave the author recommendations to finalize the proposed assessment of digital transformation of urban areas. Further discussion turned to the need to develop local digital solutions. Opinions were expressed on the prospects for the application of unified urban digital platforms in urban management.
