HSE specialists record a rise in uncompetitive state procurement contracts
According to the calculation of HSE specialists, the share of uncompetitive state procurement contracts stood at more than 63.7% in the first half of 2019. The Russian Finance Ministry asserts that the number of such procurement arrangements is falling, but HSE has included initially competitive but unsuccessful tenders in its calculation.

HSE Experts Propose Publishing Rudimentary Statistical Reports on Medical Institutions in "Open Data" format

Experts from the Higher School of Economics believe that, while the sets of "open data", currently being published by the Russian Healthcare Ministry, are useful for the public, they need additional detail.

HSE students win open data hackathon

The Russian Government Analytical Centre has completed a hackathon of the Open Data Portal of the Russian Federation, Data.gov.ru Hackathon #2. Students from the Higher School of Economics won prize in a number of nominations.

Monitoring transparency in federal executive authorities

In October – December 2014 experts from the Centre for Analysis of the Performance of Executive Authorities, as part of the Programme of the Applied Research Development Fund of the National Research University - Higher School of Economics conducted Russia's first monitoring of the transparency of federal executive authorities.
A summary of the results and recommendations on introducing transparency principles and mechanisms were presented in a public report, entitled “Five Steps to Transparency”, prepared for the 16th April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development (7–10 April 2015, Moscow).
