The First International Conference "Historiographical and Perspective Tasks of Modern Information Law"
The first international conference "Historiographical and Perspective Tasks of Modern Information Law" was dedicated to topical issues of the transformation of historical science and archival studies in the context of universal digitalization. Senior Researcher of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration Evgeny Diskin took part in the conference. He made a presentation on the topic: "The impact of digital platforms on the transformation of approaches to the preservation of historical sources."
Methodological Seminar on Digital Technologies in Science and Education
The Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and Digital Technologies of the Bashkir Academy of Public Administration under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Ufa) held a methodological seminar titled “Methodology and Tools for the Use of Digital Technologies in Educational and Research Activities.” The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration Research Fellow Aisylu Ataeva, delivered a presentation titled “Methodological and Practical Aspects of Using Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research.”
HSE University Expert and Analytical Forum
Within the framework of the HSE University Expert and analytical forum, a session of experts from the Institute for Public Administration and Governance (HSE University), including staff from the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration was held. The participants discussed their experience in attracting young HSE researchers to expert and analytical work, as well as the specifics of interaction with experienced experts and representatives of a government customer.
Seminar "The emotional component in the perception of digital public services by citizens: the cross-country aspect and the role of digital solutions based on artificial intelligence"
The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration (The Laboratory) of the HSE University held a seminar with the participation of representatives of government authorities. During the seminar, the Laboratory's experts presented their reports.
Platform Economy Day at The National Centre RUSSIA
The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration systems (HSE University) Senior Research Fellow Evgeny Diskin took part in the event "Platform Economy Day", organized by the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation The National Centre RUSSIA and the State Development Corporation VEB.RF. The event was held at the site of the Rossiya National Center and was dedicated to the role of digital platforms in ensuring sustainable economic growth, digitalization of public procurement, formation of ecosystems and the development of a new trading model.
Seminar on the topic Digital Governance and Public Administration
The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration organized a seminar, where Omer Iluz made a presentation «Digital Governance and Public Administration». He presented the results of a study conducted under supervision of The Laboratory Academic Supervisor, Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Politics at the School of Political Sciences of the University of Haifa Eran Vigoda-Gadot.
Yury Kabanov Presented a Pilot Study at the International Conference "Internet and Modern Society" (IMS – 2025)
The XXVIII International Joint Scientific Conference "Internet and Modern Society" was held from June 23 to 25, 2025 in St. Petersburg. ITMO University and the Non-Profit Partnership "PRIOR North-West" organized the conference. International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration Research Fellow Yury Kabanov presented a pilot study on the impact of decentralization on the effectiveness of the subnational digital government.
II Digital Governance and Public Administration: Global and Interdisciplinary Perspectives
The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration (The Laboratory) organized second global and interdisciplinary virtual conference «Digital Governance and Public Administration: Global and Interdisciplinary Perspectives» in June 2025. The meeting provided multiple perspectives on the developments in digital public administration and governance. Researchers from Russia, Brasil, China, South Africa and Israel shared their scientific results during three sessions. Participants from all over the world could participate in Q&A sessions after each researcher’s presentations.
ILDT member was a debater at the Yasin (April) Conference
Senior Research Fellow at the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration at the Higher School of Economics Maria Yudina acted as a debater at the session "Citizens and the State in the Age of Digital Communications" of the XXV Yasin (April) International Scientific Conference on Economic and Social Development.
Interdisciplinary Summer School of Digital Transformation in Public Administration
From July 2 to July 3, 2024, the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration for the first time held a summer school for the training and development of specialists in the field of public administration in the context of digital transformation at the Training Center for Leadership Training (Kochubey Center) Higher School of Economics – St. Petersburg. The summer school was devoted to interdisciplinary aspects of studying the problems of digital transformation in public administration. The selected students successfully completed the classes and received certificates.
