City Development Strategy until 2030 under development in Yaroslavl

A workshop session was held at Yaroslavl City Hall, titled Managing the Long-term Development of Areas: Priorities, Alternatives, Efficiency, with the involvement of municipal deputies, Mayor Vladimir Volkov, representatives of the city’s Public Chamber and experts. Specialists from the Institute for Public Administration and Governance of NRU Higher School of Economics presented the first results from development of the Yaroslavl City Development Strategy until 2030.

Digital economy development concept elaborated for Udmurtia

Experts from NRU HSE have elaborated a draft concept for developing a digital economy for the Udmurt Republic up to 2024. The concept describes the digital transformation of social services, industry and trade, agriculture, the public security system and other areas.

We’ve caused a stir in Pskov Region, says HSE expert on elaboration of a socio-economic development strategy

The strategic session Socio-economic development prospects for Pskov Region up to 2035 has begun in Pskov. The Higher School of Economics is a key strategic partner in elaboration of the socio-economic development strategy for Pskov Region. Konstantin Golovshchinsky, Deputy Director of the Institute for Public Administration and Governance, NRU HSE believes that, as part of the session, its participants will work in groups to fill certain initiative matrices and then present them. They will work together to analyse the external environment of the Pskov Region and internal factors, determining strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

HSE's contribution to integration processes in the CIS: Twentieth Meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the CIS on Scientific, Technical and Innovative Cooperation

On 27 June 2017, the Higher School of Economics hosted the twentieth meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the CIS on Scientific, Technical and Innovative Cooperation, devoted to implementation of the Intergovernmental Innovative Cooperation Programme for CIS Member States until 2020, the key developer of which is NRU HSE.

Topical problems in public strategic planning

As part of the 17th April International Conference a session, chaired by Vladimir Korolev, was held on “Directions and conditions governing the development of public strategic management”.
The discussion involved representatives of NRU HSE, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the Finance University under the Russian Government, representatives of regional ministries and departments (Ulyanovsk Region, Volgograd Region, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Altai Krai, the Republic of Khakassia and others).

HSE offers its own concept for technopark creation in Archangelsk Region

The Higher School of Economics has offered its own concept for technopark creation in Archangelsk Region. Experts believe that the creation of a state-run technopark, which could have recourse to federal support, would have the greatest chances of success in the region. The more diverse the industry specialisation of the participants, the more interesting the projects that may be generated. What is more, believe the developers of the concept, the future technopark should have the Arctic as its main focal point. Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Archangelsk Region Alexey BUSIN spoke with BC about development of the project.

Work should begin on creation of a technopark in Archangelsk Region without waiting for federal funds to arrive

This is the opinion of Ilya Akishin, project manager at IPAG NRU HSE. He visited Archangelsk as part of a delegation of HSE representatives late last week, under a contract for development of the Concept for Technopark Creation in Archangelsk Region. Upon completion of the project, Ilya Akishin answered questions from the correspondent of the press office of the Archangelsk Region Development Corporation.

Andrey Klimenko, Director of the Institute for Public and Municipal Management of the NRU HSE spoke at two roundtable discussions during the forum, devoted to elaboration of the Strategy of Socio-Economic Development of the Russian Federation up to 2030 and implementation of the Law “On Strategic Planning in the Russian Federation”.
